摘要/Abstract

摘要： 疟疾自古以来就是一种危及生命且具有毁灭性的全球性传染病。目前青蒿素联合疗法是世界上治疗疟疾最有效的方法, 几乎被全球所有疟疾流行的地区采用, 已成功挽救了数百万人的生命。青蒿素的发现是传统中医药学和现代科技紧密结合的产物, 凝聚了一大批中国科学家的努力和智慧, 是中医药献给世界的一份礼物。

Abstract: Malaria has always been a devastating and life-threatening global infectious disease.Artemisinin-based combination therapies are the most effective treatment for malaria in the world, used in almost all endemic regions, and has successfully saved millions of lives. The discovery of artemisinin is the product of close combination of traditional Chinese medicine and modern science and technology. It is the effort and wisdom of a large number of Chinese scientists that eventually deliver artemisinin as a gift of traditional Chinese medicine to the world.
