Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of AIDS complicated with Talaromyces marneffei

Abstract

Abstract: One of the common opportunistic infections of patients with AIDS is Talaromyces marneffei (TM), especially prevalent in the south of China, with high morbidity and mortality.This is a brief overview about the recent advances in the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of TM infection in AIDS patients.
